I believe you are referring to when you add a Cross-Referenced Conductor and "auto-routing" function in Capital Logic is on.
In that case the length of the conductor may appear short compared to other objects on the screen.
There is no setting at this time to control the length of the conductors that are created. You may consider creating an IDEA for this.
