in the meantime, we could detect that our ERP-system proAlpha affects the function of mentor graphics.
During the installation-process of proAlpha, the library-file "xerces-c_2_7.dll" (stored at ..//Windows/SysWOW64) is exchanged with a file with same version identifier but different content. Therefore Expedition crashes after invoking. The solution is to exchange this library-file with the file which is provided by MentorGraphics. After this, both systems works well without any limitations.
Since we have the computer fully reinstalled, we have assumed that windows 10 is the reason... but this is not the case.
